Vegas Debate Institute holds weeklong summer camps in July, and during the pandemic have pivoted to an online format. No more than 20 students per camp ensures that students receive the one-on-one instruction and personalized attention.

With more than 7 years in competitive high school and middle school debate experience, and success at national, state and local tournaments, I established Vegas Debate Institute to provide students in Southern Nevada with the resources they need to improve their public speaking abilities, writing skills, critical thinking and begin their journey to learning more about competitive speech and debate. Effective communication skills are essential to personal and professional success, whether in middle school, high school or beyond. Students that can confidently use their voices to express themselves articulately, hold conversations, resolve conflicts, and collaborate well with others are more successful in life. I believe learning these skills shouldn’t have to come at a high price tag, or going to an out-of-state camp. As the #1 ranked Lincoln Douglas Debater in Nevada (2020 and 2021), I want to share my knowledge with students with the hope of helping them develop lifelong skills and starting new friendships with other like-minded students.
